Job summary

Saronic is seeking a Systems Software Test Engineer to own the testing strategy for the software stack that runs on every Saronic vessel. You will join the Software team to transform existing test capabilities and HITL infrastructure into a unified verification platform, blending HITL, VM-based tests, replay-based evaluation, and simulation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience in test or reliability for complex systems.
• Strong testing mindset with experience building test infrastructure and V&V strategies.
• Proficiency in Rust and/or C++, plus Python for orchestration and CI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Own and drive the test strategy for the software stack on Saronic vessels.
• Develop HITL and VM-based integration tests and deterministic-simulation frameworks.
• Build fuzz, property-based, and fault-injection testing across the system.
