Job summary

Leonardo DRS Land Systems in Bridgeton, MO is seeking a full-time Senior Test Engineer with systems level test planning and execution for complex products and subsystems. The role supports testing across multiple technology areas with minimal software scope and offers in-person or hybrid work arrangements.

You will design test plans, troubleshoot hardware, analyze data, and lead a technical group while coordinating with other engineers. Travel 10–15% required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of test engineering experience.
• Experience with systems hardware testing.
• Ability to perform MIL STD 810G/ MIL STD 461E based environmental testing.
• Proficiency in using measurement devices and sensors.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems or subsystems across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and/or software components.
• Create processes to ensure products meet requirements and specifications.
• Lead design and development of test programs to measure functionality and integrity.
• Write test plans and procedures to evaluate performance against standards.
• Troubleshoot test hardware and arrange offsite testing when needed.
• Provide progress updates and budget inputs for assignments.
