Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline is required.
• 5+ years of test engineering experience or similar.
• Systems hardware testing experience required.
• Experience with MIL STD 810G or MIL STD 461E environmental testing.
• Proficiency with precision test/measurement devices and sensor selection.
• Strong analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, analyze, document and support testing of products, systems, or subsystems.
• Create processes to ensure products meet requirements and specifications.
• Lead design and development of test programs to measure functionality and integrity.
• Write test plans and procedures to evaluate performance.
• Design and setup instrumentation for measuring test parameters (strain, pressure, acceleration, temp).
• Analyze data to verify performance criteria.
• Provide budget, cost and schedule inputs for assignments and proposals.
• Work independently and report progress regularly.
• Arrange offsite testing of hardware at external facilities.
• Mentor less-experienced engineers and support personnel.
