Job summary

Skyryse is seeking a Structural Analyst & Test Engineer to support the design, development, testing, and certification of its fly-by-wire, safety-critical aircraft systems. This on-site role in El Segundo, CA will perform structural analysis and support testing of primary and secondary aircraft structures to ensure airworthiness and durability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
• 6+ years of experience in aircraft structural analysis.
• Familiarity with FAA certification requirements and structural compliance processes.
• Experience with metallic and composite structures.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis including static, fatigue, and damage tolerance analyses of aircraft structures.
• Conduct classical hand calculations to assess stress, strain, margins of safety, and structural integrity.
• Generate structural substantiation for FAA certification activities (Part 23/27).
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing and flight test teams to support certification.
• Evaluate test results and correlate predictions with ground and flight data.
• Prepare and review stress reports, certification documents, and compliance findings.
