Job summary

NVIDIA seeks a software engineer for the Data Center Systems Software team with hands-on security experience. You will investigate vulnerabilities, strengthen SDL practices, and coordinate fixes across HGX, DGX, and MGX platforms.

The role emphasizes collaboration with distributed teams and building automation to streamline vulnerability triage and remediation. Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software or security engineering, strong CS/CE foundations, and experience with security testing

Qualifications

BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
5+ years of software or security engineering experience.
Experience investigating and remediating vulnerabilities with CVSS/CWE familiarity.
Experience with secure development practices and security testing tools.
Familiarity with server firmware and systems software; ability to build automation in Python.
Experience with AI/Agents and proactive adoption of cutting-edge tools.
Ability to drive resolution across distributed engineering teams.
Strong written and verbal communication, especially for remote teams.

Responsibilities

Investigate and reproduce vulnerabilities; assess exploitability and impact.
Assess third-party vulnerabilities and coordinate updates or exceptions.
Drive remediation with engineering owners and PSIRT Operations; prioritize risk.
Develop or review security fixes; validate mitigations and regression tests.
Build automation for vulnerability triage, analysis, and tracking.
Improve SDL practices via threat modeling and security design reviews.
Evangelize SDL practices across NVIDIA data center software teams.
