Applied Research Solutions (ARS) seeks a Senior Systems Security Engineer to support the CROWS program at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. You will provide systems security engineering, cybersecurity, and cyber resiliency expertise across the acquisition life cycle for USAF weapon systems.

You will assess security designs, support SETRs (PDRs, CDRs), brief senior leaders, and contribute MBSE/SysML knowledge. A TS clearance and DoD experience are required, along with IAM Level II certification.

Qualificações

• U.S. citizen required.
• Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of relevant technical experience, including at least 5 years DoD.
• DoD 8570.01-M IAM Level II certification.
• Active Top Secret clearance with Tier 5 eligibility.
• Experience briefing senior leaders.
• USAF weapon systems acquisition experience.
• Experience with MBSE and SysML.

Responsabilidades

• Appraise and recommend security designs for software, hardware, and firmware features affecting confidentiality, integrity, availability, accountability, and non-repudiation.
• Evaluate designs to protect weapon systems and critical networks throughout the acquisition life cycle.
• Support cybersecurity posture assessments and remediation efforts.
• Review vulnerability assessments and develop mitigation strategies for legacy systems.
• Assist SETR process with PDR/CDR documentation and reviews.
• Interface with program office personnel and senior leadership.
• Provide guidance to junior personnel and ensure center of excellence outputs.
