Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a senior engineering professional to oversee hazard and reliability programs within the Lunar Permanence unit, working with NASA safety teams to ensure safe, certified spaceflight systems. You will lead risk reduction activities, define system interfaces, and provide technical leadership across multiple partners and teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating hazard analyses, producing integrated reports, and tracking safety metrics to support design and certification

Qualifications

• Hazard and reliability analyses for complex systems.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a technical field.

Responsibilities

• Manage program safety and reliability processes with Blue Origin and NASA safety teams.
• Coordinate consistent processes from vehicle and operations elements.
• Produce integrated hazard reports between elements.
• Produce reliability assessments to identify opportunities for risk reduction.
• Track safety and reliability metrics for design and certification milestones.
• Serve as Blue Origin focal on the NASA Safety Review Panel (SRP).
• Provide leadership and technical direction to element teams.
