We currently have an exciting opportunity in the Systems Engineering Integration department for a full-time Systems and Safety Engineer in San Diego, CA.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree, master’s degree or PhD in engineering or a related technical discipline with progressive engineering experience.
• Demonstrates extensive technical expertise and ability to lead workloads to milestones, with some project leadership experience.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide Systems Engineering support across programs during design, development, integration and test phases.
• Support safety analyses for systems and components and develop safety program plans per MIL-STD-882E.
• Lead or support multiple integrated product teams through system analysis, integration and testing; develop MBSE diagrams and artifacts.
• Interface with customers during program shaping, ConOps development, and requirements derivation activities.
• Develop system requirements, ICDs, RVTM, test plans and procedures, and contract deliverables.
