Qualifications
- 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 4+ years as a Systems Safety Engineer focusing on software safety.
- Experience with DoD programs and safety analyses (SAR, SRHA).
- Experience in peer review of code and developing Safety Data Packages (TDPs).
- Formal degree in software engineering, science or technical discipline.
- Two years of Microsoft Office experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in engineering and safety reviews.
- Conduct risk assessment studies with emphasis on software risk.
- Prepare reports for safety boards and present materials to boards like WSESRB.
- Analyze System Safety Plans and Safety Management Plans and assess hardware/software changes.
