Job summary

CACI International Inc is seeking a Senior Systems Reconfiguration Engineer to lead design, reconfiguration, integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment of IT and logistics systems across the Indo-Pacific. The role requires deep systems engineering and hands-on configuration management expertise.

You will work with Government stakeholders, engineers, cybersecurity, and field personnel to ensure interoperability and security while adapting systems to changing mission needs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in systems engineering, systems integration, or DoD IT operations.
• Experience configuring, integrating, testing, and sustaining complex hardware/software systems.
• Experience developing implementation plans, configuration documentation, test procedures, and baselines.
• Experience coordinating across multiple engineering disciplines for resolution.
• Knowledge of RMF, cybersecurity compliance, and operational testing.
• Working knowledge of virtualization, networking, and system lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Plan, engineer, and validate reconfiguration of IT, logistics, and supporting systems.
• Analyze architectures, baselines, interfaces, and requirements to minimize disruption.
• Modify hardware, software, OS, and network configurations within baselines.
• Develop reconfiguration plans, procedures, rollback tests, and risk assessments.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate reconfigured capabilities.
• Perform integration, interoperability, and acceptance testing after reconfiguration.
• Troubleshoot complex configuration and interface issues and implement fixes.
• Maintain baselines, inventories, and change histories.
• Support RMF, cybersecurity, and change-management processes.
• Provide senior guidance to junior engineers and technicians.
