Job summary

CACI is seeking a Senior System Engineer to design, integrate, implement, and sustain enterprise IT systems that support logistics operations, mission planning, and command and control capabilities across distributed and contested environments, with a focus on secure, reliable performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience supporting systems engineering, enterprise information technology, software engineering, or infrastructure engineering for Government or DoD programs.
• Experience supporting DoD, Joint, Combatant Command, Service Component, or Special Operations organizations.
• Experience designing, integrating, and sustaining complex enterprise IT systems supporting mission-critical operations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud computing, virtualization, enterprise networking, systems integration, or command and control environments.
• Professional certifications such as Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP, Security+, Cisco CCNP, VMware VCP, ITIL, or equivalent are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT systems supporting mission operations.
• Develop systems engineering solutions that integrate logistics, operational, and mission support capabilities.
• Analyze system requirements and develop technical architectures supporting Government objectives.
• Coordinate system integration activities across hardware, software, networks, and cloud environments.
• Ensure system availability, reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive engineering practices.
• Support technology modernization initiatives and lifecycle management activities.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity personnel to ensure compliance with Government security requirements.
• Perform systems analysis, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve technical issues.
