Job summary

CACI International Inc in Hawaii seeks a Senior Field Service Engineer to install, configure, integrate, test, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade mission-critical hardware, software, network, and communications systems across Indo-Pacific theaters supporting government missions.

The role requires 8+ years in DoD environments, field deployments, and strong troubleshooting, with duties including coordinating with engineers, vendors, and cybersecurity teams, and reporting to the Platform

Qualifications

Minimum 8 years of experience supporting DoD/government programs and field service engineering.
Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise hardware, software, servers, and network infrastructure.
Experience supporting field deployments, technology integration, preventive maintenance, and operational system sustainment.
Experience preparing technical documentation, engineering reports, maintenance records, and executive-level briefings.
Demonstrated ability to diagnose complex technical issues and restore mission-critical systems within tight timelines.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, integrate, test, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade mission-critical hardware, software, network, and communications systems.
Perform field engineering support for logistics systems, C2 platforms, asset visibility technologies, edge computing devices, and enterprise IT infrastructure.
Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, diagnostics, system health assessments, and lifecycle replacement activities.
Coordinate installation and fielding of new hardware, software releases, firmware updates, and technology refresh initiatives.
Troubleshoot complex hardware, OS, network, database, and application issues while restoring operational capability.
Coordinate with systems engineers, software developers, cybersecurity personnel, and network admins to resolve technical problems and improve performance.
Support operational testing, technology demonstrations, field experiments, exercises, contingency operations, and mission rehearsals.
Develop technical reports, engineering assessments, maintenance documentation, installation procedures, and executive briefings.
