Job summary

System Engineer, Senior at CACI International Inc. will design, integrate, implement, and sustain enterprise IT and systems engineering solutions to support logistics, mission planning, and C2 capabilities across distributed environments.

The role partners with Government stakeholders, program leadership, software developers, and cybersecurity personnel to ensure secure, scalable systems and successful modernization initiatives while mentoring junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of systems engineering, IT, or infrastructure experience for DoD or government programs.
• Experience briefing senior government and military leadership on technical solutions and performance.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field; professional certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise IT systems supporting mission operations.
• Develop systems engineering solutions that integrate logistics, operational, and mission support capabilities.
• Coordinate system integration activities across hardware, software, networks, and cloud environments.
• Ensure system availability, reliability, scalability, and performance through proactive engineering practices.
• Support technology modernization initiatives and lifecycle management activities.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity personnel to ensure compliance with Government security requirements.
• Prepare technical briefings, engineering reports, and project status updates for program leadership.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote systems engineering best practices across the program.
