Position Overview

The Senior Systems & Network Engineer will assist and support the IT infrastructure for our technology-driven clients throughout Brevard County. The role requires strong customer service, a well-rounded technical background, business intuition, excellent communication and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide positive and exceptional customer service to clients and staff.
• Take direction and constructive criticism with a positive “can do” attitude.
• Communicate effectively via phone, email and service ticketing system.
• Document time, client IT environments, applications and resolution steps in our document management system.
• Collaborate with team members to resolve IT issues and elevate when needed.
• Pay attention to detail and complete tasks per defined processes.
• Design, scope, plan, and execute complex technology projects professionally and timely.
• Ensure all Service Level Agreement targets are met.
• Provide after‑hours customer support on a rotating basis.
• Travel to client sites as required.
• Learn and uphold our company’s world‑class service delivery practices.
• Maintain a flexible, creative, and fun attitude.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience managing business‑class network infrastructure.
• One or more relevant technical certifications.

Technical Experience

• Remote management and troubleshooting of Microsoft Server OS.
• Administration of Entra, Active Directory and Group Policy.
• PowerShell scripting proficiency.
• LAN/WAN network connectivity troubleshooting.
• Hyper‑V configuration and management.
• Fortinet firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
• Network switching configuration and troubleshooting, including VLANs.
• Backup and disaster recovery experience with Datto.
• Datto RMM and other remote management tools.
