Job summary

Kidde Global Solutions seeks a Systems Engineering Manager to own the end-to-end system for residential life safety products. You will lead cross-functional teams across hardware, mechanical design, and manufacturing, turning requirements into verifiable system specifications and risk mitigation plans.

The role requires deep experience with embedded systems, product life cycle, and strong collaboration across global teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or systems engineering is required.
• 7+ years of engineering experience in product development, with embedded systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end system for Kidde residential life safety products.
• Lead cross-functional engineering teams across hardware, mechanical design, compliance, test, and manufacturing.
• Translate requirements and regulatory standards into system-level specifications and traceability.
• Define and manage system verification/validation plans and DFMEA.
• Support root-cause analysis from quality incidents and corrective actions.
