Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with 7+ years of design and/or product development experience or Master’s degree with 5+ years of design and/or product development experience.
• Experience in power supply design, embedded systems, EMC and signal integrity, and high-speed digital circuits.
• Familiarity with DFMEA and regulatory standards (UL/ULC, FM, EN54) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead modification, design and development of analog and digital circuits for fire alarm products.
• Investigate alternate sources for electronic components and assess impact.
• Contribute to DFMEA analyses and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Oversee embedded system architecture and development.
• Perform circuit analysis and validation using simulation tools (PSpice).
• Utilize test equipment for system-level validation and ensure regulatory certification tasks.
