Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager - Systems Integration to lead complex Electronic Access Control product development and cross‑functional programs in New Haven, CT or Berlin, CT. You will drive SAFe and waterfall projects from concept to production.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of experience delivering connected hardware and software, strong leadership, stakeholder management, and proficiency with Jira, Confluence, and MS Project.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 8+ years of experience leading complex product development or systems integration projects.
• Experience delivering connected hardware/software solutions with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex product development and system integration projects involving embedded firmware, software, cloud services, and electronic access control solutions.
• Coordinate cross-functional, multi-location teams to define requirements, interfaces, priorities, and delivery plans.
• Develop and manage project plans, schedules, dependencies, risks, issues, and escalations.
• Drive execution through project reviews, stakeholder communication, and governance using SAFe and waterfall methodologies.
• Collaborate with AEH PMO to improve project management practices, tools, and processes.
