Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Integration Engineer to unify embedded, edge, and enterprise platforms for machine readiness. You will own data flows, validation strategies, and end-to-end system health across global teams.

Based in Mossville, IL, you will influence architecture, drive resilience, and lead cross‑functional collaboration with engineering, manufacturing, and service groups. This is a demanding, high-impact role with visibility at the executive level.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, CS, or related field.
• Experience with connected machines, autonomy, automation, telematics, or digital platforms.
• Deep experience with distributed systems spanning embedded and enterprise platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end system integration for a machine readiness capability across embedded systems, edge environments, and enterprise platforms.
• Establish and govern technical expectations for system connectivity, data completeness, and readiness determination.
• Lead end-to-end validation and sign-off for system readiness and integration quality.
• Provide senior engineering leadership to onboard architecture and back-office systems for current and future capabilities.
