Job summary

COLSA is seeking a senior systems engineer to lead complex defense programs. You will apply systems engineering across design, integration, and airworthiness, ensuring safe and effective weapon systems throughout their life cycle.

The role requires a DoD background, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance. Experience with OSS&E, safety analysis, and risk assessment is important for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an ABET accredited engineering discipline with advanced degree and 12+ years in the field, or 15 years with DoD experience.
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).

Responsibilities

• Perform systems engineering across design, integration, manufacturing, quality, and airworthiness.
• Develop, deploy, and maintain processes for integrated weapon systems lifecycle.
• Provide system integration guidance to program offices and contractors.
