Job summary

NextGen Federal Systems seeks a Senior Engineering Manager / Analyst to support the DHS TARS program in Washington, DC. You will provide senior engineering leadership, coordinate system integration, and drive performance improvements across logistics, program management, and government teams.

You will review requirements, develop schedules, lead root cause analysis, and ensure compliance with DoD/ DHS standards while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of systems engineering and integration experience.
• Experience with aerostat systems, radar, ISR platforms or related defense tech.
• PMI PMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering oversight for TARS system integration and operations.
• Review requirements, specifications, and documentation for accuracy.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and milestones.
• Lead root cause analysis and coordinate field troubleshooting.
• Prepare reports and briefings for stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with DHS/CBP, DoD, and industry standards.
