Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a System Engineering Section Manager on the STRIKE program in Melbourne, Florida. The role leads a staff of Systems Engineers, directing technical performance, cost, schedule and quality across multiple work packages with 20/80 split and program-wide responsibilities.

The candidate should have a STEM degree with 9 years (or a Master’s with 7 years) of engineering experience, and an active DoD clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in STEM with relevant engineering experience.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering practices.
• Ability to obtain/maintain DoD security clearance (Secret or higher).

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff within the SE&I section on STRIKE program.
• Plan performance against cost, schedule and technical goals.
• Provide technical guidance and complete staff development.
