Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Melbourne, FL seeks a Section Manager for Lab Infrastructure Electrical/Mechanical/System Test Design Engineers. You will lead a team, align with program goals, and ensure delivery of test assets and procedures.

The role requires a STEM degree, 9 years of related experience or a Master’s with 7 years, and an active Secret clearance. Travel up to 10% is expected as projects demand. A strong leadership track and ability to mentor engineers are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have a bachelor’s degree in a STEM field and 9 years of related professional/military experience OR a Master’s degree and 7 years of related professional/military experience.
• Active Secret clearance and ability to transfer and maintain final adjudicated U.S. government Top Secret clearance (in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and program access as required.
• 3+ years of experience working with Mission Systems and/or Mission Systems testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Lab Infrastructure Electrical/Mechanical/System Test Design Engineers.
• Provide technical oversight and align section goals with program requirements.
• Manage planning, scheduling, and resource allocation; mentor engineering staff.
