Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a System Engineering Section Manager on the STRIKE program to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.
The selected candidate manages a section of Systems Engineers reporting to the Specialty Engineering Department Manager within the STRIKE Systems Engineering & Integration (SE&I) Engineering Integration & Execution (EI&E) on a 20% allocation. Responsible for the direct supervision/management of the staff. Responsible for providing objective-oriented direction to subordinates utilizing management guidelines & general policies as well as maintaining their current technical statement of work for the remaining 80% of the work week. Management responsibilities include: planning and program performance addressing cost, schedule, technical performance, and quality of a system/mission thread work packages, subsystems, or related group of work packages or across multiple interrelated programs with full responsibility for all aspects of technical performance on large system development-type contracts, large delivery orders or mid-size technical services-type contracts.

Primary Level Salary Range: $161,100.00 - $241,700.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
