Job summary
Penn State Health in Hummelstown, PA is seeking a VMware/Systems Engineer to maintain and expand the VMware Cloud Foundation 9.x environment across a multi-site enterprise. You will install, test, and document configurations, collaborate with operations and vendors, and lead projects with moderate impact while ensuring cyber security compliance.
Responsibilities include monitoring performance, troubleshooting, and implementing improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree plus 4+ years of related experience or 8 years total. Has to meet Penn State Health core values.
- Experience with enterprise VMware environments and multi-site deployments preferred.
- Familiarity with Dell EMC hardware and HCI infrastructure is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and test VMware Cloud Foundation 9.x across a multi-site enterprise.
- Monitor and optimize enterprise server systems performance and reliability.
- Provide technical assistance to design, implement, and support server hardware/software systems.
- Lead projects with moderate enterprise impact and document standards.
- Ensure compliance with cyber security policies and procedures.
