Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology seeks a Systems Engineer to design, implement and manage enterprise-grade information systems and technology across our global infrastructure. You will oversee VMware vSphere, storage, OS, scripting and cloud platforms to ensure availability, security and performance across multiple sites.

We value a BS/MS in CS/MIS/Engineering, VMware VCP and AWS/Azure certifications, plus 9+ years in IT system administration and 4+ years in cloud environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, MIS, engineering, or a related field.
• Technical certifications: VMware VCP, AWS Certified SA, Azure Administrator Associate.
• Minimum 9 years in System Administrator IT roles; 4 years cloud exposure.

Responsibilities

• Grasp contemporary technology and turn them into business solutions.
• Design and implement enterprise grade information systems and technology.
• Manage and monitor multiple VMWare vCenter, Nutanix and other converged environments.
• Ensure assets are responsibly and properly managed through life cycle with optimal financial performance.
• Maintains overall system compliance with information security policies and procedures.
• Design, deploy, and test disaster recovery solutions for global centralized and decentralized applications.
• Manage Okta Identity Management platform for SSO and MFA.
• Manage and oversee Office 365 enterprise tenant including AzureAD, Exchange, Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint.
• Manage Secure email gateway Mimecast and O365 ATP.
• Management of Active Directory and its subcomponents – Group Policy, Sites and Services, DNS, etc
• Serves as technical subject matter expert for the resolution of issues related to private or hosted infrastructure.
• Works towards cost effective solutions and enhancements to optimize functionality within the system.
• Manages and tunes platforms to ensure expected availability, performance and security levels are achieved.
• Develop and maintain scripts to automate tasks as needed.
• Monitor server and network uptime. Makes recommendations to improve faults as needed.
• Manage fleet of Windows servers
• Serve as escalation point to assist in troubleshooting of infrastructure issues.
• Works independently or as a team member for multiple infrastructure related projects.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
