Job summary

Ultra Clean Technology is seeking a Systems Engineer to join its expanding IT infrastructure team. The role supports global Windows/Linux servers, virtualization platforms, and cloud services across UCT locations in Chandler, AZ, Austin, TX, or Hayward, CA.

You will implement security policies, DR solutions, and automation to enable scalable, reliable operations. The ideal candidate has 9+ years in IT system administration, 4+ years on cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and relevant

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's in computer science, MIS, engineering, or a related field.
VMware VCP certification or equivalent.
Experience with AWS/Azure IaaS.
Experience with Linux and Windows Server.
Experience scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
Experience managing virtualization and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

Grasp contemporary technology and turn them into business solutions.
Design and implement enterprise grade information systems and technology.
Manage VMware vCenter, Nutanix and other converged environments.
Ensure assets are properly managed through lifecycle with financial performance.
Maintain system security and compliance with policies.
Design, deploy, and test disaster recovery solutions for global apps.
Manage Okta for SSO/MFA and Office 365/Azure AD platforms.
Oversee Exchange, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive in Microsoft 365.
Monitor uptime and optimize performance and security of systems.
Develop scripts to automate tasks and improve efficiency.
Provide escalation support for infra issues.
Travel to domestic/international UCT offices as needed.
