Job summary

North Point Technology seeks a New Systems Engineer for Mission Software in Herndon, VA. The role supports a geospatial intelligence program with embedded and systems engineering within an Agile Scrum team.

The ideal candidate will perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and requirements analysis across the software lifecycle, leveraging SysML/UML modeling, Jira/Confluence, and interface design. Active TS/SCI with CI poly is required to start.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph required to start.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and requirements analysis across all phases of the software development lifecycle.
• Support functional analysis, timeline analysis, trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition efforts to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Develop and maintain system models, author and manage requirements artifacts, conduct user outreach, and collaborate with software architects to ensure the design of the software architecture properly addresses mission requirements.
