Job summary

Assured Consulting Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead requirements engineering, design reviews, and integration across NSG/ASG and NGA programs. The role requires coordinating with government customers and technical teams onsite in a government/SCIF environment.

Ideal candidates have 12+ years in DoD/IC acquisition or large System of Systems projects, a TS/SCI clearance, and the ability to pass a polygraph, with a strong background in cloud/on-prem/hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Systems Engineering or in a related technical or scientific field; or 4 years additional experience with no degree or 2 years with a non-STEM degree.
• 12+ years of experience in DoD/IC Acquisition Process, Requirements Process, PPBES, or large System of Systems/SoA environments.
• Experience with systems engineering lifecycle and cloud/on-prem/hybrid infrastructures.
• TS/SCI clearance adjudication or ability to obtain SCI and pass a polygraph.
• Knowledge of NSG/ASG and NGA enterprises; NGA/NSG/ASG program experience.

Responsibilities

• Guides mid-level and junior system engineers across requirements, design, testing, and integration in NSG/ASG environments.
• Oversees analysis/traceability of user requirements, architectures, procedures, and cloud scheduling limitations.
• Guides solutions designs based on requirements analysis and new tech.
• Assists Government in translating mission requirements into system/capability requirements.
• Supports allocation of requirements to architecture components and program execution.
• Performs systems integration activities and conducts AoAs, CoAs, and trade studies.
• Supports strategic technical planning, risk management, and interface design with government stakeholders.
• Operates at the level of integrating multiple systems across Major System Acquisitions.
