Job summary

J&T seeks a senior Systems Engineer (Level 5) to provide enterprise-level systems engineering leadership across all lifecycle phases in Annapolis Junction, MD. You will ensure technical integrity and deliverables, guiding MBSE methods and supporting government programs.

The role requires directing architecture development, DoDAF/FEAF alignment, and risk management while interfacing with stakeholders and program leadership to resolve technical conflicts.

Qualifications

• Senior-level systems engineering role requiring leadership across lifecycle phases.
• Experience with ISO/IEC 15288 process areas and lifecycle governance.
• Hands-on MBSE with SysML; proficient in Cameo Systems Modeler.
• DoDAF or FEAF architecture frameworks experience.
• Strong interface with government stakeholders and executives.

Responsibilities

• Apply advanced systems engineering across all lifecycle stages per ISO/IEC 15288.
• Lead MBSE activities and develop system models and architecture artifacts.
• Develop architectures aligned with DoDAF/FEAF frameworks.
• Oversee requirements, decomposition, design, verification, and transition.
• Manage risk, baselines, interfaces, and system metrics.
• Track tasks and deliverables using Jira.
• Advise government overseers and executives on engineering considerations.
