Job summary

Flash Technology Group is seeking a Systems Engineer 3 to lead the end-to-end engineering and deployment of Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Trellix HX across hybrid environments, including on-premises, cloud, and VDI. The role requires TS/SCI with Polygraph, for a critical national security program.

You will collaborate with threat intelligence, author advanced IOCs with KQL and YARA, and act as a principal advisor to government stakeholders while mentoring junior engineers in a fast-paced,

Qualifications

• MDE architecture and deployment experience (MECM/SCCM or Intune).
• Trellix HX controllers/agents experience in restricted networks and rule creation (OpenIOC, YARA).
• Windows, Linux, macOS internals and forensics knowledge.
• IAM Level II or III baseline certifications held.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle engineering and scale-out architecture of MDE and Trellix HX across hybrid environments.
• Tune agent configurations and exclusion policies to minimize mission friction; monitor endpoint health at scale.
• Advise government stakeholders on system risks and engineering considerations; mentor junior staff.
