Job summary

Wyetech is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer (Level 3) to lead endpoint security architecture for federal customers, focusing on Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Trellix HX. You will design, deploy, and optimize endpoint protection across hybrid on-premise and cloud environments, with a strong emphasis on threat hunting collaboration and IOC development.

Due to federal contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship and an agency-appropriate TS/SCI clearance with poly is required.

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI with agency-appropriate poly and 20+ years of SE experience in complex programs.
• Experience planning and leading Systems Engineering efforts is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or related field; substitutions allowed.

Responsibilities

• Lead lifecycle engineering and scale-out architecture of MDE and Trellix HX across hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with threat hunting analysts to translate threat intel into IOCs (KQL/YARA).
• Advise government stakeholders on system risks and engineering considerations; mentor junior engineers.
