Job summary

RTX is seeking a skilled engineer to join our DoD-focused team in the United States. The role includes system performance analysis, electrical design across cross‑platform subsystems, and embedded programming in Windows and Linux environments for microcontrollers and PLCs.

You will generate design documentation, work with customers during training, and help address urgent requirements. A STEM degree with substantial experience and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance is required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years.
Knowledge of electrical design of cross-platform systems with multiple protocols.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

Conduct system performance analysis and develop risk mitigation strategies.
Detail electrical design of cross-platform systems and components.
Program in Windows and Linux for embedded systems using microcontrollers or PLCs.
Create system design and configuration management documentation.
Collaborate with customers during training and address urgent issues.
