Job summary

Executive Management Services, Inc. seeks a System Engineer to join a mission-focused team delivering analytics, microservices, and a PaaS platform.

You will help define architectures, drive DevSecOps practices, and sustain critical government systems across JWICS, SIPRNet, and related networks. You will collaborate with analysts, cybersecurity personnel, and hardware engineers to ensure security, performance, and reliability while advancing modernization and data flows for complex, distributed

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.
• DoD 8570 compliance at IAT/IAM Level 2.
• Experience with DoD/DIA DevSecOps processes.
• Architectures include microservices, containers, APIs, and PaaS.
• Hands-on with Angular, Node.js, Java, and .NET.
• Design and consume RESTful APIs and data services.
• Cloud knowledge ( AWS, Azure ); IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM/Bicep).
• Linux/Windows server experience; Docker, Kubernetes; CI/CD pipelines.
• Security-by-design, zero trust, IAM, data protection.
• Able to communicate complex concepts to technical/non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain end-to-end system architectures for complex software and data systems.
• Provide input to system design including hardware/software trade-offs and integration.
• Design, implement, and integrate software and infrastructure components per architecture patterns.
• Apply systems/software engineering methodologies to development, integration, and production processes.
• Ensure delivery aligned with architectures while managing risks, cost, and schedule.
• Participate in DevSecOps processes across all design, development, and deployment phases.
• Develop technical roadmaps, transition plans, and modernization steps.
• Produce architecture artifacts and support design reviews and readiness activities.
• Deliver briefings and training to government stakeholders as requested.
