Job summary

M9 Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a government contract onsite in San Diego, CA. An active Top Secret clearance is required.

You will contribute to mission-focused software cloud applications, work closely with client teams, and ensure alignment with program objectives. Responsibilities include system design, development, analysis, and integration across cloud and on-prem environments, Agile planning, and coordination with software and test engineers; occasional travel

Qualifications

• Top Secret security clearance.
• Experience with TCPED processes, practices, and tools, focusing on tasking and collection.
• Understanding of user interface design and development practices.
• Experience working on-site with clients and end users in the government space.
• Experience with Agile management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Experience with UML/SysML modeling tools such as MagicDraw.
• Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Subversion, Git).
• Experience with DevSecOps tools and processes.
• Experience with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of open, standards-based architectures, interfaces, and geospatial data.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of a mission-focused software cloud application.
• Collaborate with client and team members; backlog prioritization and sprint planning; create UI mock-ups and technical documentation in Jira/Confluence.
• Perform analysis and tasks across planning, system design, implementation, integration, and verification/validation.
• Occasional business travel to client locations for product demonstrations and meetings.
