Job summary

M9 Solutions is seeking a Software Developer 6 to work onsite in support of a government contract for a client located in Springfield, VA. An active TS clearance is required.

The role involves full life-cycle software development, design, coding, testing, and documentation across front-end and back-end technologies. Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree with 12+ years (or 9+ with a Master's) of experience, DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher baseline certs, and strong skills in

Qualifications

• Active TS security clearance required.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree and extensive progressive experience in software development.
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II or higher baseline certification (e.g., CISSP, Security+) preferred.
• Experience with front-end languages/libraries (HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery).
• Experience with back-end languages (C#, Java, Python) and JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Node.js).
• Experience with databases (MySQL, MongoDB) and web servers (Apache).
• Strong communication and teamwork capabilities; able to manage time and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Perform full life-cycle software development from conception to deployment.
• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance specs.
• Develop software solutions by analyzing systems, data usage, and workflows; implement features.
• Design, code, and modify software to add functionality and improve performance.
• Review, test, and document software components to ensure quality.
• Coordinate installation and monitor system operation to meet specs.
• Lead one or more development teams to ensure project adherence to process.
