Job summary

SEACORP in Middletown, RI seeks a Mid-Career to Senior Systems Engineer for undersea torpedo payload systems. You will lead the development of system requirements, architecture, and interfaces across subsystems, coordinating with internal teams and government stakeholders.

Successful candidates will have experience in heavyweight or lightweight torpedo programs, prior lead roles, and a current security clearance.

Qualifications

Experience supporting torpedo or submarine payload development.
Experience as technical lead for subsystem engineering.
Experience developing System Requirements Specifications.
Experience producing Interface Control Documents.
Experience developing system architecture descriptions.
Experience in lifecycle phases: concept, requirements, preliminary design, integration.
Active Secret security clearance.
Experience with NAVSEA/NUWC undersea programs.

Responsibilities

Lead development of system-level requirements for torpedo payload systems.
Translate operational needs into system architecture and technical requirements.
Develop and maintain System Requirements Specifications (SyRS).
Define and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs) across torpedo subsystems.
Develop and maintain system architecture descriptions and subsystem allocations.
Lead systems engineering activities through concept development, requirements definition, and preliminary design.
Present technical artifacts and design status to government engineering leadership.
Coordinate engineering efforts across internal teams and government stakeholders.
