Job summary

PCI Professional Services LLC seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to provide technical leadership for the design, integration, validation, and lifecycle management of complex IT systems at Schriever Space Force Base in support of a high-sensitivity Red LAN environment.

The role collaborates with government stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure secure, reliable, and mission-aligned solutions, while guiding architecture, verification, and sustainment activities throughout the system lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a technical field (Systems Engineering, CS, EE, IT).
• 10+ years of relevant systems engineering, integration, architecture, or IT engineering experience.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
• Certification in DCWF Advanced is required.
• Experience designing, integrating, and validating complex IT systems.
• Experience with system architecture, system-of-systems integration, requirements management, verification, and validation.
• Experience leading technical reviews and providing direction to engineering teams.
• Experience developing or approving test strategies, test plans, and readiness decisions.
• Strong lifecycle management and sustainment engineering knowledge.
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, integrate, and validate complex IT systems and system-of-systems architectures supporting mission-critical operations.
• Own the system architecture and lifecycle strategy, ensuring decisions support current and long-term sustainment.
• Lead development, maintenance, and evolution of architectures, baselines, design docs, and roadmaps.
• Manage system-level interfaces, requirements, verification, validation, and sustainment across the lifecycle.
• Steward integrations between networks, infrastructure, applications, hardware, cybersecurity, and external systems.
• Establish integration strategies for interoperability, performance, reliability, and readiness.
• Chair technical reviews and engineering working groups, guiding analyses and decisions.
• Review and approve test plans, verification strategies, and readiness assessments.
• Provide leadership on system readiness for integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
• Establish and govern engineering standards, patterns, and governance processes.
