Job summary

PCI Federal seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to lead design, integration, and lifecycle management of Red LAN IT systems at Schriever Space Force Base. You will serve as the senior technical authority for architecture, verification, and sustainment in a high-sensitivity environment.

The role requires a TS/SCI clearance, extensive systems engineering experience, and collaboration with government stakeholders to ensure secure, reliable, and mission-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of relevant systems engineering, systems integration, architecture, or IT engineering experience.
• Active DoD TS/SCI clearance required.
• DCWF Advanced certification required.
• Experience designing, integrating, and validating complex IT systems.
• Experience leading technical reviews and verification/validation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, integrate, and validate complex IT systems and system-of-systems architectures for mission-critical operations.
• Own the system architecture and lifecycle strategy, aligning with mission requirements and sustainment objectives.
• Lead development, maintenance, and evolution of architectures, baselines, design docs, and roadmaps.
• Manage system-level interfaces, requirements, verification, validation, and sustainment across the lifecycle.
• Steward integrations between networks, infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and external systems.
• Establish and maintain system-level integration strategies for interoperability and performance.
• Chair technical reviews and engineering working groups; guide analysis-backed decisions.
• Review and approve test plans, verification strategies, and readiness assessments.
• Provide leadership on readiness for integration, testing, deployment, and sustainment.
