Job summary

ORBIS Inc. seeks a senior professional to support NAVSEA Team Submarine SHAPM program offices and related groups.

The role focuses on leading the creation of hybrid software, web and hardware products from concept to rollout, integrating diverse systems and managing development life cycles to deliver reliable solutions. Ideal candidates will have a Master’s degree in engineering, 10 years of systems engineering experience, and a Secret security clearance, with prior work on Navy acquisition

Qualifications

• 10 years of professional experience in systems engineering (typical).
• Experience with DoD acquisition programs is desired.
• Ability to integrate software, hardware and web technologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the creation of hybrid software, web and hardware products from initial specifications to final rollout and maintenance.
• Integrate various network operating systems, application programs and hardware devices.
• Manage the development cycle for a resilient software, hardware and web application, including design, coding, testing and maintenance.
• Manage the "big picture" of a project, considering cost, schedules and related issues.
