Job summary

The Boeing Company seeks a Senior/Experienced Systems Engineer for the Space Mission Systems (SMS) organization in Seal Beach, California, with potential relocation to Kennedy Space Center, Florida. You will contribute to first-of-its-kind capabilities, leading system verification, requirements tracing and integration across multi-disciplinary teams.

This on-site role requires active TS clearance and supports scaled agile development to deliver mission critical space-based platforms for

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related field.
Typically 5+ years of related work experience (Level 3).
Active Top Secret US Security Clearance or recent eligibility for Continuous Vetting.

Responsibilities

Leads Ground and System Level verification, validation, integration and test.
Leads requirements management processes, tools, risk and technology readiness.
Develops and executes test plans, procedures and verification reports.
Resolves cross-functional technical issues.
Evaluates customer needs to test system performance and interface compatibility.
Performs analyses for reliability, safety, maintainability and other quality factors.
Develops Ground Segment Operational Products for space-based systems.
Supports complex system level threads required to run missions in space.
Works with a team of engineers using scaled agile development.
