Job summary

Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque invites a skilled RF/Microwave Engineer to join the Advanced RF Systems team. You will develop and field RF, EW systems, working in a multidisciplinary group to meet SWaP constraints and performance goals for national security applications.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and the ability to obtain DOE Q and SCI clearances, with travel and onsite work. You will engage with customers, mentors, and partners, delivering hardware on schedule while

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; 5+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination.
• Ability to obtain DOE Q and SCI clearance (may require a polygraph).
• Experience with RF/microwave design and testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Negotiate technical and programmatic requirements with customers.
• Analyze, design, and develop RF/microwave EW systems and subsystems.
• Develop and execute test and qualification plans.
• Deliver hardware within schedule and budget constraints.
• Troubleshoot problems and support anomaly resolution activities.
• Develop RF technologies to enable new mission capabilities.
• Lead or support formal program reviews.
• Provide engineering and programmatic documentation.
• Apply knowledge to improve work quality and results.
