Job summary

Legion Technical Solutions is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to support a premier Space ISR program in Aurora, CO. This onsite role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship, with eligibility for a transferable clearance.

You will analyze system behavior, decompose requirements, define interfaces, plan verification, and support architectural and test activities in an Agile environment, collaborating with software, test, and program stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle in government contracts.
• Familiarity with mission-domain spaces like Space ISR or satellite ground systems.
• Active and transferable TS/SCI clearance or eligibility.
• U.S. citizenship and onsite work in Aurora, Colorado.

Responsibilities

• Analyze system behavior and develop operational use cases.
• Decompose requirements into lower-level, actionable items.
• Define and manage system interfaces and test plans.
• Determine verification and validation strategies with the test organization.
• Support requirements, architecture, and system-design development.
• Provide SE support for program test activities and baselining.
• Contribute to test processes, baselines, and test architecture.
• Support regression testing across program releases.
• Participate in technical reviews and cross-functional meetings.
