Job summary

Legion Technical Solutions is seeking a Senior Principal Systems Engineer to support a premier national security space program in Aurora, CO. You will lead system architecture, requirements elaboration, and large-scale integration across multidisciplinary teams to deliver Space ISR capabilities onsite.

You will drive ConOps, system modeling, and Agile engineering practices, collaborating with leadership to meet schedule and cost objectives and ensure mission success for critical national

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in STEM required.
• 10+ years of systems engineering experience on complex software/hardware programs.
• Experience across the systems engineering lifecycle.
• Experience in ConOps, capability/feature development, and functional analysis.
• Experience with program increment planning and agile systems engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Define and elaborate system capabilities, features, and functional requirements.
• Develop system architecture concepts and interface definitions.
• Analyze system behavior through operational scenarios and use cases.
• Partner with Integration & Test teams to automate test procedures and analyze results.
• Investigate software and hardware integration issues and drive resolutions.
• Support Agile PI planning, backlog management, and team capacity planning.
• Assist with Earned Value Management execution and program performance tracking.
• Collaborate with engineering leadership and program management to meet objectives.
• Perform root cause analysis of system anomalies.
• Participate in technical reviews and customer meetings.
