Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Lead Systems Engineer (Level 4) to support SBMC2 programs in Colorado Springs, CO or Berkeley, MO. The role involves contributing to the design and development of next-generation ground command and control capabilities within an agile environment.

The position requires strong systems engineering skills, experience with OMS/UCI interfaces, and a TS clearance. Travel up to 10% and relocation options are possible.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.
• 9+ years of work-related engineering experience.
• 3+ years on a software development effort from inception through delivery and operation.
• Experience with Open Mission Systems (OMS) or Universal Command and Control Interface (UCI) or Open Architecture standards.
• Experience with Agile development.

Responsabilités

• Support definition of requirements, interfaces and concepts of operations in multi-disciplinary teams.
• Communicate prioritization of efforts to a multi-disciplinary group.
• Perform analyses to model system behavior and identify solutions.
• Interface directly with internal and external customers.
• Conduct and support trade studies.
• Coordinate across software, DevSecOps, hardware, cybersecurity, IT, networking, and mission engineering teams.
• Collaborate in an industry consortium with diverse viewpoints.
