Job summary

Boeing Defense, Space & Security in Hazelwood, Missouri seeks a Lead Systems Engineer, Level 4, to guide architecture across IPTs for a Weapon System Segment from design through verification. You will lead cross-functional teams, establish requirements, interfaces, and traceability, and ensure integration with other segments in a modern MBSE environment. This first-shift role involves travel up to 10% and relocation may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science from an accredited program.
• 7+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• Active U.S. Secret security clearance; U.S. citizenship required for clearance and Special Program Access.
• Experience with MSOSA and systems engineering including requirements, interfaces, and verification.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional teams in developing a Weapon System Segment architecture across IPTs.
• Define, manage, and maintain segment requirements, interfaces, behaviors, and verification requirements.
• Apply systems engineering and MBSE to meet customer digital engineering needs.
• Coordinate integration between the segment and other weapon system segments; deliver the architecture model.
• Plan, design, develop, and verify complex systems solutions using interdisciplinary methods.
• Establish, maintain, and demonstrate traceability between tools in the Digital Engineering Environment.
• Guide teams in applying open architecture standards and collaborate with IPTs and Lead Model Architect.
