Requirements
Must have:
- – We require a bachelors degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, preferably with a STEM focus, plus at least 5 years of engineering experience.
- – We require experience in Systems Engineering.
- – We require experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering, requirements development, requirements management, requirements verification, or integration and test for software products.
- – We prefer a masters or PhD in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics.
- – We prefer experience with Agile development methods and processes.
- – We prefer experience with Agile, Model-Based Systems Engineering, and/or Digital Engineering.
- – We prefer experience delivering analytical and technical presentations.
- – We prefer experience assessing and reducing technical risk.
- – We prefer a self-starting approach with the ability to work with limited direction.
- – We prefer strong customer focus and collaboration skills.
- – We prefer experience with performance analysis.
- – We prefer experience with DOORS and/or cPDM.
- – We prefer experience with Azure DevOps methods and tools.
- – We prefer proficiency with Matlab, C, C#, C++, or Python.
- – We prefer the ability to perform trade studies to improve system performance.
- – We prefer understanding of the Systems Engineering product development cycle.
- – We prefer familiarity with system safety, reliability, and configuration management.
- – We prefer experience working in an integration lab, test facility, or field environment supporting integration and/or verification.
- – We prefer experience evaluating systems in simulated environments.
- – We prefer experience producing technical documentation such as trade studies, test plans, procedures, or technical reports.
- – We prefer experience integrating test equipment, telemetry data analysis tools, and missile systems host platforms.
- – We require active and transferable U.S. government security clearance before the start date.
- – We require U.S. citizenship and eligibility to obtain an interim U.S. government security clearance.
Responsibilities
- We update and maintain system- and subsystem-level requirements specifications for embedded software, configurable logic, and/or test systems software.
- – We model the system and its development and production processes using Cameo.
- – We conduct trade studies and share findings with customers.
- – We provide technical systems engineering support for verification and validation activities, ensuring requirements are properly assessed.
- – We work closely with Systems, Software, Configurable Logic, and Test teams on a range of technical tasks.
- – We participate in technical discussions with customers.
- – We serve as a go-to systems engineering resource for software-centric program capabilities.
- – We help onboard, mentor, and guide new team members using core systems engineering practices.
