Job summary

Apogee seeks a seasoned Systems Engineer to support the SOF AT&L Directorate. The role focuses on engineering surveillance, program analysis, and technical recommendations within a DoD-acquisitions framework. You will coordinate with government counterparts, develop briefings, and drive escalation paths.

The position requires a TS/SCI eligibility, 10+ years in engineering, and expertise with MS Project and acquisition processes. On-site in Virginia Beach, VA with travel expectations apply.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: Must be a US citizen.
• Clearance: Must possess and maintain a TS with SCI eligibility.
• DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency in Test & Evaluation or Engineering; DAWIA III desired.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 10 years of engineering experience in related areas.
• Ability to communicate effectively across a geographically diverse organization.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with the SOF AT&L S&T organization and support engineering processes.
• Provide inputs for leadership briefings on programs, projects, problems, and resolutions.
• Support contract modifications and technical recommendations for changes.
• Assist budget control for engineering efforts and analyze cost proposals.
• Document surveillance of design and development efforts using performance indicators.
• Prepare executive-level briefings and consolidate official responses.
