Job summary

Apogee is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the SOF AT&L Directorate at Fort Bragg, NC. The role focuses on surveillance of design, development, and production efforts, providing expert input to government counterparts and maintaining engineering processes and performance indicators.

The position requires US citizenship, TS/SCI eligibility, and a DAWIA-equivalent credential, plus a minimum of 10 years in engineering and defense acquisition. On-site work at Ft Bragg with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Citizenship: US citizenship required.
• Clearance: TS w/ SCI eligibility required.
• DAWIA Practitioner Equivalency IAW the PWS (DAWIA level II equivalent), DAWIA Level III desired.
• Education: Bachelor's degree in computer, electrical, mechanical, or systems engineering.
• Years of Experience: Minimum of 10 years in relevant engineering and defense acquisition.

Responsibilities

• Plans, executes, and documents surveillance of design, development, and production efforts for government counterparts.
• Provides expert-level support to government counterparts on engineering and analysis processes.
• Completes advanced engineering demand tasks, including reviewing proposals and nonconforming materiel.
• Provides inputs for status briefings to leadership on programs, projects, issues, and resolutions.
• Analyzes performance indicators to assist in management and process improvement.
