Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Systems Engineer to develop and field target tracking and sensor fusion systems for advanced RF subsystems. The role is 100% on-site in the United States, with relocation assistance and required Secret Clearance.

Willingness to travel up to 10% is expected. You will analyze data from diverse sensor modes, support lifecycle validation, and engage with customers to balance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 12+ years' experience, or advanced degree equivalence.
• Experience with multi-target tracking, adaptive processing, or sensor fusion.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or similar analysis languages and RF signal processing.
• Strong systems engineering knowledge and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, shape, and integrate sensor data across modes.
• Develop parametric representations and visualizations early in lifecycle.
• Support integration of sensor modes from simulations to labs and aircraft.
• Engage with customers to balance performance requirements.
• Maintain existing systems and implement incremental improvements.
• Ensure objectives with ICDs and related documentation.
