Job summary

Lam Research Corporation is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Global Product Engineering group in Fremont, CA or Tualatin, OR. You will design complex wafer fabrication systems, define requirements, and integrate hardware, software, and firmware into cohesive solutions for Etch/Deposition markets.

You will work across hardware, controls, software, and manufacturing teams, develop test plans, analyze results, and drive risk management.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a Master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve technical opportunities and risks across different disciplines.
• Create system specifications for subsystems of the transport module.
• Manage design tradeoffs.
• Design experiments to characterize subsystems.
• Analyze data using Statistical Analysis of Variation and SPC methods.
• Present test plans, test data, technical proposals, tradeoffs, etc.
• Execute and deliver on tight time schedules.
• Perform hands-on lab work.
